Halloween Workshops and Parade

Details
As part of Blyth Celebrates, Blyth Town Council proudly presents… A Spooktacular Week of Halloween & Day of the Dead Fun!
This Halloween, step into something a little different… and a lot more colourful! 🎃💀
Join us for a week-long celebration that blends the spooky spirit of Halloween with the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — all leading up to a spectacular community parade on Friday 31st October at 3:00PM. ( Times subject to change)
Our event is packed with daily drop-in workshops where children and families can get creative making:
-
Paper skulls and spooky decorations
-
Traditional marigold flowers and colourful tissue designs
-
Halloween-themed masks and headpieces to wear in the parade
-
Sugar skulls to decorate
At the heart of it all is our giant, ever-growing Ofrenda – a colourful altar that blends Halloween humour with the spirit of remembrance. Add your own handmade touches throughout the week!
Then, on Friday, join our costumed dancers, live music, and themed parade trolley for a magical, slightly spooky celebration perfect for the whole family.
👻 Come for the crafts – stay for the parade!
