Join us for a very special Blyth Harbour Day as we celebrate the 200th anniversary of Blyth RNLI—honouring two centuries of courage, community, and lifesaving history right here on our quayside.

Enjoy a fantastic day by the water, packed with family friendly fun, live entertainment, and maritime celebration.

Watch exciting on the water RNLI demonstrations, showcasing their lifesaving skills in action at 2 pm and take in the spectacular Parade of Sail from Northumberland Yacht Club and RNLI flotilla at 12 pm.

The Blue plaque unveiling will be the opening of the event at 11 am, the Blue plaque marks the 200th anniversary of Blyth RNLI.

Explore a vibrant mix of market and food stalls, offering everything from local crafts to delicious street food, while live music keeps the atmosphere buzzing throughout the day from the Shanty Singers, Community voices and more!

Step inside and discover more with open days at Blyth RNLI, the Energy Campus Hub—and don’t miss the chance to climb aboard the Blyth Tall Ship’s Williams II, open to visitors for the day so you can explore this incredible vessel up close.

Newcastle University will also be open to explore and listen to talks as well as boarding the Princess Royal Research vessel

Families can enjoy a wide range of free activities, including crafts, storytelling, kite making, face painting and more.

The Pallas Family Flyers return to help children create and fly their own kites, bringing colour and creativity to the harbour find them in the Energy Hub

Plus, don’t miss the free helter-skelter and swings, perfect for little adventurers!
