Blyth Town Council extends its warmest congratulations to all those elected to serve as Councillors for the forthcoming term. We look forward to working with the new membership in continuing our shared commitment to the residents of Blyth and the future of our town.
We also wish to express our thanks to all candidates who stood for election and to the members of the public who engaged in this important democratic process.
To those former Councillors who were not returned to office we offer our appreciation and gratitude. Your dedication, service, and significant contributions to the life of the town have been recognised and are acknowledged. Thank you for your commitment to public service.
The Annual Meeting of Blyth Town Council will take place at 18:00 on Tuesday, 13 May 2025, at which time the newly elected Council will elect the Chair and Mayor as the first item of business.
We thank those newly elected Councillors who have provided their contract details. This will enable arrangements to be made for the signing of the Declaration of Acceptance of Office, the distribution of agenda papers, and the planning of induction training to support Councillors in their new roles.
Should our new Councillors require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the Town Council office on 01670 361688.
