Notice of Works During Unsociable Hours – Ogle Drive Skate Park

Council News

We are pleased to inform you that work on the new skate park at Ogle Drive is progressing well and near completion. We are committed to ensuring the project is completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.

Due to adverse weather conditions, it will be necessary for our contractors to work during unsociable hours to maintain the project timeline. We have discussed this matter with the Public Protection team at Northumberland County Council (NCC).

NCC has granted a permit, under Section 61 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, to allow our contractors to work unsocial hours on the following dates:

• Tuesday 14th January 2025 up to 2100

• Thursday 16th January 2025 up to 2300

The weather conditions on the day will dictate if unsocial working on these dates is required. Should alternative dates be required, we will discuss this further with NCC and apply for a further permit.

The works to be carried out is the pouring and finishing of the final concrete slabs which will be hand finished. We aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to complete this exciting new facility for the community.
