The contractors are making excellent headway on the new play area at Axwell Drive, which is set to be completed well before the October half-term holiday.

As a result of the removal of the grass bank, some adjustments have been made to the original plans, including a slight reconfiguration of the new play equipment, which will be enclosed by bow-top fencing to ensure children’s safety. Additionally, Wicksteed Leisure has generously provided an extra double-bay swing for older children, which will be installed on the grass area behind the fenced play area.
