Community Grant Funding Applications are Open!

Community Grants Scheme Reopens to Support Blyth Projects
Blyth Town Council has relaunched its Community Grants Scheme, offering funding to support local groups and organisations delivering projects that benefit the town and its residents.
The scheme is designed to help community groups bring forward ideas that make a positive difference in Blyth. Funding is available for a wide range of activities and initiatives, from community events to ongoing support services. In previous years, grants have supported projects including skills training, community activities and improvements to local facilities.
For 2025/26, the council allocated £128, 938 to support community-led work across the town, with applications assessed at regular intervals throughout the year.
Local charities, voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations are encouraged to apply, particularly those whose work directly benefits Blyth residents.
The next application deadline is 19 May, with decisions made shortly afterwards.
Groups interested in applying can find full guidance and application forms on the council’s website:

Organisations that would like support or have questions about the application process can contact Hannah Gregory at:

This is a great opportunity to secure funding and help deliver projects that strengthen Blyth!
