Notice of Election - Bebside and Kitty Brewster Ward

Northumberland County Council has published the Notice of Election for one Town Councillor position in the Bebside and Kitty Brewster Ward.
The nomination deadline is Friday 21st November 2025 at 4pm. Prospective candidates must hand-deliver their nomination papers to the Elections Office at County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF between 9am and 4pm on any working day, excluding bank holidays.
Nomination papers can be obtained from the Elections Office during the hours stated above, or the Returning Officer will assist electors in preparing nomination papers upon request. Nomination papers can be downloaded using the link below.
If the election is contested, polling will take place on Thursday 18th December 2025.
For Bebside and Kitty Brewster Ward residents wishing to vote, applications to register must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 2nd December 2025. You can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at County Hall, Morpeth by 5pm on Wednesday 3rd December 2025. You can apply for a postal vote online at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote.
Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 10th December 2025. You can apply online at www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate.
New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 10th December 2025. Some applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote.
Applications to vote by emergency proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 18th December 2025.
